Ecological Restoration Opportunity for Volunteer Groups

Calendar Until Nov 14, 2026
Time 9am - 4pm, scheduled based on your availability

Description

Looking to get your hands dirty and bond with your team, club, or organization in an urban green space? The Boston Nature Center invites groups to volunteer with us this fall!

Volunteers will support a long-term stewardship effort to restore habitat in our Red Maple Swamp by removing nonnative, invasive plants. Your group will enjoy a collaborative, hands-on experience that strengthens connections, promotes engagement with nature, and delivers lasting impact at the local level.

Volunteers will...

- Contribute to efforts to conserve and restore native habitat at the Boston Nature Center

- Become familiar with the ecology and management of a forested area of our trail system

- Create deeper connections with each other in a vibrant green space in the city
