Join us for Broad Meadow Brook's most popular community event the 19th Annual Barbara J. Walker Butterfly Festival! We are seeking enthusiastic volunteers to help create a fun, welcoming, and memorable experience for hundreds of visitors celebrating butterflies, pollinators, and the wonders of nature.
Volunteers are needed for a variety of roles, including:
- Parking Assistance - Help direct visitors and ensure safe, efficient parking.
- Greeters - Welcome guests, provide event information, and help visitors find activities.
- Crafts and Activities - Assist with crafts and activities for families.
- Admission Table - Check in guests, assist with admissions, and answer basic event questions.
This is a great opportunity to support environmental education, engage with the community, and enjoy a day surrounded by nature. No prior experience is necessary, training and support will be provided.
Volunteers are encouraged to dress to be outside for the entire shift, and wear a hat and comfortable shoes. All volunteers receive pizza, snacks, and a t-shirt.
