Who We Are

Broad Meadow Brook in Worcester is the largest urban wildlife sanctuary in New England, with more than 400 acres cooperatively managed or owned by Mass Audubon. Interpretive signs will guide you along well-marked trails through woods, fields, streams, and marsh.

What We Do

Broad Meadow Brook offers a variety of volunteer opportunities for people of all interests and experience levels. Register as an individual for the drop-in volunteer opportunities we have posted on the volunteer portal (scroll down to "Place Opportunities" to see them). If you have any questions, please email jdziejma@massaudubon.org.

Are you a school group, corporate group, club group or other large group looking to volunteer? We are capable of accommodating groups of volunteers up to 15 people at a time, but open to discussion! Typical projects are invasive plant removal, trail maintenance, and gardening. Please reach out to Leeann Rauls at lrauls@massaudubon.org with information about the size of your group, dates you are looking to volunteer, and the type of opportunity you're interested in.
