Come help take care of Habitat's Herd of Nigerian Dwarf Goats.
The goats are used as living lawn mowers, helping maintain the meadows as open spaces.
Responsibilities would include
- Cleaning up after the goats
- Ensuring the goats have food, water, and shelter
- Interacting with the general public who are viewing the goats
- Assisting staff with herding if needed
- Able to handle staying in a meadow during the summer if needed
During the summer, the goats may go out to the meadow. Goat Tenders are expected to be able to be with them as the goats are not allowed out alone.
- Volunteers under the age of 14 must be accompanied with an adult
- Minimum 6 month commitment

Can be done as an individual or as a group
