Magazine Beach Eco-Volunteers are dedicated to protecting biodiversity and building ecological resilience at Magazine Beach Park in Cambridge, MA. This community-led group will participate in seasonal restoration projects like ecological monitoring, invasive species removal, BioBlitzes, and other conservation projects throughout the year. It is the perfect opportunity for adults and families with children older than 10 looking to protect the natural world alongside neighbors and friends. No experience necessary! During some sessions, you will learn how to use applications like iNaturalist to identify plant and animal species and record data.
