Description

Join DNRT and Mass Audubon in Saltmarsh Restoration at Allens Pond Wildlife Sanctuary. Volunteers are needed to clear debris and trash within our restoration area. We will also be removing tidal restrictions (rocks, stones, debris) from our project area to restore stream flow. Please bring your favorite pair of work gloves, all other supplies needed to accomplish this project will be provided. Waterproof shoes are recommended.

We will be meeting at our Allens Neck Road trailhead (92 Allens Neck Road) where we will walk ~1 mile to our grasslands. Please bring a water bottle, and dress appropriately for the weather conditions. There are no restrooms at this location.

This program is made possible through funding by grant 43-00A01143 from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s Southeast New England Program.
