Join Mass Audubon staff for a restoration planting event at Great Neck Wildlife Sanctuary. Participants will learn about native plants and have an opportunity to assist in the installation of native trees, shrubs and flowers. Help us dig, plant and water new species to increase the biodiversity of the landscape at Great Neck. Learn about the work Mass Audubon is doing to support resilient ecosystems. This is a family friendly volunteer opportunity; any volunteer under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a guardian for the duration of the event.
We will be meeting at our main parking lot at 226 Great Neck Road in Wareham, MA 02571. Please bring a water bottle, sun protection (hat, sunblock), and bug spray. A porta potty is accessible on site.
