Drumlin Farm's crops staff grow over 50 different types of fruits and vegetables using sustainable techniques - field fallowing, crop rotation, organic pest control... Our produce is sold to restaurants, at the Union Square & Belmont farmers' market, and through our own CSA and farm stand.
You will assist our farmers with a variety of field tasks including transplanting, thinning, weeding, mulching, and harvesting. The fields are beautiful and a wonderful place to get your hands dirty as you volunteer alongside our crops staff.
The sessions are physical and require walking on uneven surfaces, bending, working near the ground, and some lifting. It can be hot or cool.
