Water station volunteers will be stationed at various points throughout the course in Kennedy Park. Duties include filling and distributing water to runners and cleaning up after the last runner passes. Some of our water stations are not accessible by car. You may have to hike to your station. If this poses a barrier to you, please let us know. You will be asked to carry a table, a few gallons of water, cups, and a trash bag. This position is outdoors and requires standing for the entirety of your shift. Please bring a water bottle, snack, and comfortable shoes. Light lifting of about 30 lbs. is also required. Walking and carrying requirements vary based on water station locations. The volunteer coordinator will provide more details closer to the event. Please let us know if you have any questions!
Volunteers will meet at Pleasant Valley Wildlife Sanctuary at our volunteer check-in tent, located at the entrance of the sanctuary.
