Take your first step toward becoming a Joppa Flats Education Volunteer by attending any of our trainings. Education Volunteers help staff and field teachers present programs to schools, groups, and families throughout the school year in a wide variety of environments.
Volunteers must attend at least one training to get started, and those who are interested are welcome and encouraged to attend multiple trainings:
Tuesday September 8th / 9am – 12pm / Education Volunteer Training: Bird Banding & Migration
Tuesday September 15th / 9am -12pm / Education Volunteer Training: Tide Pool Ecology
Tuesday September 22nd / 9am -12pm / Education Volunteer Training: Salt Marsh & Sandy Beach Conservation
To register for this training, click the "Respond" button and on the next page, select the date(s) that correspond with the training topic you are interested in. Then, click "Submit Opportunity Response." You should then see a green banner appear across the top of the screen, indicating that you are registered and all set!
