Take your first step toward becoming a Joppa Flats Education Volunteer by attending any of our trainings. Education Volunteers help staff and field teachers present programs to schools, groups, and families throughout the school year in a wide variety of environments.
Volunteers must attend at least one training to get started, and those who are interested are welcome and encouraged to attend multiple trainings:
Tuesday March 31 / 9am – 12pm / Education Volunteer Training: Salt Marsh & Sandy Beach Ecology
Tuesday April 7 / 9am -12pm / Education Volunteer Training: Tidepools
Tuesday April 14 / 9am -12pm / Education Volunteer Training: Bird Banding and Migration
Saturday April 18 / 1 - 4pm / Education Volunteer Training: Tidepools (this is a repeat of the Tidepools training on April 7th, please choose one or the other)
To register for this training, click the "Respond" button and on the next page, select the date(s) that correspond with the training topic you are interested in.
