Spend your morning readying the Butterfly Garden for seasonal pollinators and visitors as part of Mass Audubon's Statewide Volunteer Day! Volunteers will help with cleaning garden beds, raking paths, and cutting back shrubs and vines. Hand tools such as rakes, pruners, and cultivators will be provided as well as kneeling pads and gloves for working in the garden.
Bring your own water bottle; light snacks will be provided. This project is suitable for all ages. Note that volunteers under 16 must be accompanied by a parent/guardian.
This volunteer opportunity will include one or more projects that are accessible and inclusive to volunteers with a broad range of abilities. For more detailed information on these projects, or to discuss any accommodations that would be helpful, please contact 508-627-4850 or felixneck@massaudubon.org.
