Description

Spend your morning with us along the salt marsh at Wellfleet Bay as part of Mass Audubon's Statewide Volunteer Day! We'll work on maintaining nesting "gardens' for diamondback terrapins, a threatened species of turtle, by weeding and pulling grass and other vegetation from their nesting areas. Bring your own water bottle; light snacks will be provided. A member of our Turtle Research Team will be leading this project.

This opportunity is for volunteers 18 and older.
