Calling all new Mass Audubon volunteers to our virtual, statewide orientation!
During this 45-minute session, you will have the opportunity to:
connect with other new volunteers across the state who share your interests;
learn more about how your volunteer work connects to Mass Audubon's larger goals and mission, and;
dive into our volunteer portal to ensure you are all set up with our platform.
This orientation is open to all new volunteers who will begin volunteering soon or those who started volunteering within the last few months but have not yet attended an orientation. If you can't make this session, we will have more scheduled in the coming months!
Joining the Orientation
This session will be conducted virtually on Microsoft Teams, a free online application that works similarly to Zoom or Google Meet. To register and receive the link to join the meeting, complete this registration form. The link will be emailed to you (check your spam folder if you don't see it in your inbox). You do not need to download the Teams app to join the meeting; simply select the "Continue on this browser" option.
Tech Best Practices
Teams works best on Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge. To avoid firewalls or other blocking software that may cause errors with the platform, we encourage you to use a personal laptop or phone rather than one connected to a workplace or university.
Having trouble once you're in the meeting? Try leaving and then joining the meeting again - that's usually the quickest way to solve a glitch.
