Volunteers are needed to clear debris and trash within our saltmarsh restoration area.
We will be meeting at our Allens Neck Road trailhead (92 Allens Neck Road). From here will will walk ~2 miles to our project area at our grassland and saltmarsh edge. Along the way, we will walk through active restoration areas and Mass Audubon staff will provide an overview of all the ecological restoration + monitoring efforts taking place at Allens Pond.
Please bring your favorite pair of work gloves, all other supplies needed to accomplish this project will be provided. Waterproof shoes are recommended, due to muddy conditions. Please bring a water bottle, and dress appropriately for the weather conditions. There are no restrooms at this location.
