Climate and Nature Champions Statewide

Who We Are

Mass Audubon’s Climate and Nature Champions is a grassroots advocacy program that mobilizes individuals across Massachusetts to speak with one voice on the most pressing environmental issues of our time.

Whether you have been an advocate before or are new to policy work, you can help Mass Audubon fight for land and wildlife protections; clean air and water; and climate and energy policy that will keep us on track to net zero emissions by 2050.

What We Do

Volunteers are working on our advocacy campaigns:

  • Rescue Raptors: Reducing the use of rodent poisons that kill wildlife in communities across the state.
  • Protect Nature for MA: Advocating to fund statewide nature conservation addressing climate change and protecting wildlife habitats.
  • Accelerate Wetland Restoration: Streamlining the regulation and permitting system to  wetland restoration work.
  • Grow Solar, Protect Nature: Promoting conservation-smart solar energy development to protect prime forest and farmland.

In addition to active campaigns, Mass Audubon always advocates for our policy priorities.
